The power of sports to bind societies and communities together is unparalleled. Throughout the world, sports has been seen to lower crime and delinquency rates among youth, foster a sense of independence and freedom and instill a sense of discipline and commitment.
As a corporate entity, HAND believes it can also make a difference on the social front with the power of sports. Led by the Managing Director’s keen love and belief in sports, HAND organizes and sponsors sporting activities in North India.
Two notable efforts in this area have been establishing a Chandigarh football league for the youth and an annual Cyclothon to give budding amateur cyclists a boost.
Other than sports, HAND also actively engages in relief activities for natural calamities and disasters. As a responsible corporate entity, HAND believes the betterment of society is good business sense.
